You can stop your vehicle in front of the residence to drop your bags. To access the residence, you can enter in the old city via the old city gates : “Porte de la Ligne” (1) by car (the “Porte Saint-Lazare” (2) is now closed)
<aside> ⚠️ The streets are limited to vehicle with authorization. Your check-in document may be requested at various checkpoints.

To exit the city, the easiest way is to take the city gate : “Porte Saint-Joseph” (3)
<aside> ⚠️ In July, the “Porte de la Ligne (1)” is closed. You can enter only via “Porte Saint-Lazare (2)” if you show a proof of check-in or check-out.

Except in peak season, you can find parking spots in the street along the inside city wall. Some place require a ticket for a day use. See the machines around.
The P1 -Parking du Palais- is the nearest by foot (+/-350 meters) and this is a scenic historical path.
The P2 -Parking des Halles- is a bit further (+/-650 meters) and is often full.
